Stage 3 – Travel to the UK

Once you have completed the required stages and have the appropriate arrangements in place, travel to London for your intensive OSCE preparation.

International nurses should ensure that they meet the relevant UK immigration requirements before travelling.

The UK Government’s Standard Visitor route permits certain short-term study and specifically allows eligible visitors to come to the UK to take an OSCE, subject to the relevant requirements.

A visa is not guaranteed and immigration decisions are made by UK Visas and Immigration.

Stage 4 – Four Weeks of Face-to-Face OSCE Preparation

Your UK training is focused on practical preparation for the NMC OSCE.

The programme is designed around repeated practice, feedback and simulated examination conditions.
